Capella has three scholarship options available. First, Capella offers some internal scholarships to learners, such as the Robert C. Ford Human Services Scholarship and the Helene Krivosha Scholarship. Second, learners are encouraged to apply for external scholarships that are offered specifically to Capella learners, e.g., the Go the Distance Scholarship. Third, free scholarship search engines are available to learners.
Capella participates in several federal financial aid programs including the Federal Pell Grant Program and Federal Stafford Loan Program. Capella is also eligible to certify Veterans Educational Benefits and can provide information on other non-federal loan programs.
Admissions requirements vary by program and specialization. International applicants residing outside the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands are not eligible for acceptance into programs requiring supervised clinical internships or practical within the Schools of Human Services and Psychology.
